Your first visit to Kings: what to bring

A little preparation helps your first appointment run smoothly, whether you are welcoming a new pet or changing clinics.

From the first hello

Your visit, step by step.

01

Tell us what you need

Choose a branch and share your pet’s concern, records and questions. Reception confirms the time, clinician and preparation.

02

Understand the plan

Discuss the examination findings, proposed investigations or treatment, the estimate and any consent decisions with your veterinarian.

03

Know the next step

Ask about results, home-care instructions, follow-up and the best way to contact the treating team if you are concerned.

Choose your branch

Kings has branches in Al Barari / Majan, Al Wasl / Jumeirah, Al Furjan and Damac Hills 2. Check the address and contact reception for parking, arrival and accessibility information.

Put the records together

Bring the vaccination booklet, microchip details, previous medical reports and a list of medicines or supplements. If possible, request relevant records from your previous clinic before the visit.

Tell us what matters to you

Write down the concerns you would like to discuss, including when you first noticed them. Share your pet’s usual diet and any recent changes in appetite, activity or routine.

Confirm the appointment and estimate

The website booking form opens a request to the selected branch on WhatsApp. Your appointment is confirmed when reception agrees the time and details. Ask about the consultation fee and any preparation before travelling.

Care at Kings

Share your pet’s symptoms, previous records and current medicines with your branch. The team will confirm the appropriate clinician, location and appointment. Ask how results, treatment options, costs and follow-up will be explained.

General educational information. Your treating veterinarian will assess your pet and explain suitable care. A symptom can have several causes; this guide cannot diagnose your pet.
